Meet The Experts

Reid Stovall
A third-generation Montanan with deep roots in the wild, Reid was raised in the outdoors and developed a lifelong passion for archery elk hunting. His heart belongs to the mountains — the sound of a bugling bull and the challenge of the chase. A devoted husband and father of two active teenagers, Reid and his family spend as much time as possible exploring Montana’s natural playground. Every elk he has taken with a bow has come from public land using over-the-counter tags. Reid’s seminars help hunters of all levels build confidence, sharpen skills, and gain practical insight earned through years in the field.

Wes David
Wes David was born and raised on a cattle ranch near Beiseker, Alberta, and has called Airdrie home for more than two decades. A former professional bull rider, Wes transitioned into a career as a professional walleye tournament angler, outdoor writer, and the host and producer of Fishing the Wild West TV. Now in its 10th season, the show airs on eight U.S. and Canadian networks, reaching more than 18 million households. Wes has written over 1,500 magazine articles covering fishing, hunting, wildlife, gear, youth involvement, and conservation. He spends more than 125 days a year on the water and is a passionate advocate for conservation, education, and getting youth involved in the outdoors.

Alex Chidester
Alex brings hands-on knowledge shaped by training with Sitka’s product development team and a lifetime spent in the Montana outdoors. Before joining Sitka, he tested and explored the strengths and limitations of many leading outdoor brands, giving him a well-rounded, real-world perspective on performance gear. His background combines field experience with technical insight, allowing him to speak confidently about how equipment truly functions under demanding hunting conditions.

Darrell Holland
Darrell Holland is a custom riflesmith and internationally respected shooting coach with decades of experience in the firearms industry. He has consulted for numerous manufacturers and is a frequent seminar speaker at SCI conventions, where he shares expertise in hunter survival and long-range shooting. Darrell holds multiple patents and was an early pioneer in rifle scope reticle technology. Through Holland’s Shooters Supply, he manufactures a wide range of hunting and shooting equipment. When not in the shop, Darrell spends his time pursuing big game across the U.S. and abroad.
